Intro

The eight “Olive Tree for Peace” was planted on April 21 of 1997 in San Miguel de Tucumán, in the company of the Vice Governor who was in charge of the Government at that time.

The Vice Governor gave the “Emblem of the Province” to the Palestine Ambassador who was named Guest of Honour by the city Mayor.

Unfortunately, the “Olive Tree for Peace” and its plaque were violently pulled up by unknown people; and both of them have not been reinstalled yet
